  • Why in the world is everyone trying to get rid of Desean Jackson ?

Did the man not perform exceptionally well in his first year in this system ? 1,332 yards and 9 TD's not enough ?? What am I missing here ? Help a brotha out, please.

Don't pay attention to any of it

It's all BS. He's not going anywhere unless it's a top 5 pick in the draft.

this feels like Mosher's attempt at creating a storyline. He knows Desean is immature and its media manipulation

Agreed. It definitely has a manufactured feel to it. But it all started with that article by Kempski.

I saw CSN was trying to stir the pot during Avant's farewell interview. Trying to get him to comment on how he was the middle man between Jackson and the coaching staff.

I think Jackson's little adjustment period with Chip last offseason is the root of this. Now they're just trying to manufacture some clicks.

very TO-esque feel. Desean should go Marshawn Lynch this season and not talk to the media

My favorite narrative behind the reason they want to get rid of him is "Chip likes his WRs big and strong."

No shit. Every coach would prefer their WRs to be Megatron, just because DeSean isn't that guy doesn't mean Chip wants him gone.

and then you have knuckleheads on this board that are actually down with it.

there is no One we can get right now In FA or draft

that can blow by any safety in the league....agreed I could see the Old front office trying to get out of Paying DJ....Ultimately I think Chip talks to him,,all this goes away by camp...its March the Mediats need something to write about.

                    He asked for a raise

Which somehow makes him a problem. Total BS, he's not going anywhere.

Throw the man a bone. He performed well last year. re-do the deal to give him some guaranteed cash, and be done with it.

                        It's the Cooper Cuddlers
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I could care less of they restructure his deal to give him more cash or not. But it bothers me that some people act like Jackson is anything like TO. TO started all kinds of shit, in SF before he came to Philly, and everywhere he went. Jackson's kind of a punk, sure, but there aren't any examples of him actually being a real problem. Maybe there's something that happened that never went public, but I doubt it.

I took that as meaning he likes big wideouts who can block, which is true. He is a run first coach, I don't see them dumping Djax unless it's for a killer deal though however...and who knows if that will ever happen with the money involved.

Was the pouting when he was looking for a new deal the first time. Hopefully, he won't be doing any of that this year, but I believe that this FO will actually take care of him this time before it gets out of hand.
