Braman went undrafted out of West Texas A&M, where he was dismissed for manufacturing psilocybin (a hallucinogen), according to a 2011 Houston Chronicle story. Braman also worked for Abercrombie & Fitch in Los Angeles, modeled, attended some casting calls, and was a bouncer, according to the article.
