The funny thing about this, we didn't even own a dog yet. We were supposed to be getting a neighbor's dog because they were moving away and couldn't take the mutt with them. My dad didn't want to buy a $30 dog house so he spent about $300 in building materials to build this thing that got out of hand. He later explained that it was a "father and son" bonding moment.
To wrap up the story, the dog ran into the street and got killed two days before it was coming to live with us. Now I'm like fuck dogs.500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.Comment

This whole sentiment of broken hearts over dead dogs is sad to me.
