That's everyone that hates Cooper's season last year just trying to act like he sucks still because he said the "n" word so their opinions don't look like shit. They act like we are racist for appreciating Coop's awesome season. No, we just enjoyed watching him play, and score...and make 1 handed catches...why is that such a problem? At least you know he ain't gonna bitch about making 10 mil a year, act like a diva, and not block anyone, take plays off...all that shit.

You couldn't be more wrong, and if you think that this team would be better off without the services of DeSean jackson, then you have completely lost your mind.

i'm just more concerned about the defense. i would love to get another #1 pick to attempt to build a really good defense. i know desean is good for this team but at the same time i don't think they are going to become inept if they did trade him.

also flat out dogged it in 2012 and admitted to it. What's to stop him again?

a third round pick though? pass.

But of course you and others will jump to that conclusion...look at who our coach is now, do you think he cares who his receivers are? If they have good hands, can block, and don't take plays off that is a better fit for this offense. Sorry that you don't "get" that but that is just the reality of having this coach. It's fine to me if they want to keep Djax to stretch the field, but if he is a locker room cancer and bitching about money that is just drama we don't need.

and dumps players at the slightest sign of decline, God forbid a player look for some form of guaranteed money before he goes out and puts his career on the line.

When is enough enough? 10 mil a year isn't enough when you are getting robbed I guess. Couldn't even afford ADT with that? Come on

NONE of the money remaining on his contract is guaranteed. NONE. OF. IT. He blows out a knee in OTA's, you think Jeffy is still gonna pony up and pay him 10.5 million ?? The amount is not the issue, that fact that there's no guaranteed money, is.

He shouldn't have signed the deal then.

How about your boss tells you that the company isn't going to guarantee your salary for the rest of this year, but they still want you to come in to work. You gonna be a good little trooper and still go ?

I'll buy the way the contract was structured as a deterrent for a team wanting to trade for Jackson now. But I'll whole heartedly disagree with the notion that any large percentage of NFL players have gang ties. It seems a tired old cliché. Some, sure. Half? No way.

Every post you made this morning had to do with cooper. You didn't comment on anything until someone brought up cooper. He had a good year by his standards. Please move on with your life.

So you're saying he isn't going to make 10 mil this year? So how much is he going to make? Is he just playing for free this year? What am I missing?

Would I Trade Him? Yes -- BUT...

...it would have to be for another veteran the same age or younger capable of doing what Jackson does... OR a draft pick in the first round OR two in the second. The third round? When I fly, let alone pigs.
