Chip hitting the road to see potential draftees

Apparently he was at both Louisville and Florida State pro days this week.

Everyone is assuming he was scouting S Pryor and LB Smith in Louisville and just about all the Florida State players.

One of the key things for me is whether the Eagles address positions early where there is already an established starter:

Barwin's spot - do they really like Paul Kruger?
ILB - Does DeMeco stay beyond his season?
DT - I think they are less bullish on Logan than they are saying
LDE - I believe you can draft a Thorton upgrade early
TE - What if Ebron falls to #22?

kruger put on weight to be a DE in the 3-4...he's now 6'6" and 300lbs

Te? We are paying Casey 4 mil a year to carry the signs on the sideline. I think he was looking at WR in Florida and I hope Marcus smith in Kentucky.


I agree there will be value at 3-4de this year. I guess it all depends how chip views the secondary class
