So is Russell Wilson, though. So there's that.

Also, according to the same guys, the player responsible for the Greatest Play of All-Time we're trying to trade for a 3rd round pick, so maybe Philly just loves discarding All-Time Greats.

If they didn't include a few African American QB's, they'd be considered racists. I understand that.

That took one hell of a turn huh?!

I mean he couldn't have been chose in the top 32 due to his talent or skill, just his skin color

You know the guy who still has the best TD/INT ratio while having SHIT at WR means nothing...

Amazing folks still wonder why Philly fans have a bad rap

Yeah -- Right -- 'Cept For That "Team Player" Thing

To be one of the best in this league you have to be ready to do whatever -- WHATEVER -- is needed of you to help your team win.

To be one of the best quarterbacks you have to be concerned when your team is trailing, trying to think of what you can do to help it get back in it.

McChunky cared about McChunky. There are acres and acres of green grass, real and plastic alike, that NEVER felt the weight of his running feet because he was worried about a name people might slap on him -- and how many times did we all see him standing on the sidelines giggling, laughing and having a great old time when the Birds were getting hammered??!!

One of the best? Sure he was -- right behind Bobby Hoying and Doug Pederson.

If anyone doesn't think Donovan was one of the best 32 QBs of all-time, they don't know football. For one, it's not that high of a standard. Number 2, he was a very good QB, all biases aside.

I'd challenge anyone who disagrees to name 32 better QBs. He is the best Eagles QB of all-time, hands down. No, he wasn't perfect, but if you don't realize that he was very good-to-great, you are letting that irrational Eagle fan in you creep in. He didn't bring us a Super Bowl, but he came closer than anyone else ever has. Hoying and Pederson wish they had half the career McNabb had.

Race be damned, he was very good at his craft. Was he the best? No. But then again, we Eagle fans would complain about Brady, Peyton, and Brees had they played here.

I would take Rich Gannon off of that Generation X bracket

and replace him with Doug Williams, just because of what Doug Williams' accomplishments mean for the game as a whole.

32 QBs is pretty selective. The NFL has been around for a long time. Any best-ever list will include guys I never watched. Guys from different eras like Sammy Baugh. But I think you could name 32 QBs better than McNabb. With the assumption that every QB in the HOF is better than McNabb, since McNabb won't get in, it's pretty easy to name 8 other QBs not yet in the HOF better than McNabb.

Why would Russell Wilson be included? Because he won a Super Bowl? So did Joe Flacco and you don't see him on that list. Russell Wilson has only been in the league for 2 years. I can see why McNabb is on that list but come on...how can you be so naive?

That's kinda what I was trying to say. I was just poking fun at lists like that in general. They're like a form of offseason masturbation for football-deprived fans.

The racism thing confused me so much I actually thought he was CALLING ME racist.

Not every HoF QB is better than McNabb. I'd take McNabb over Namath, Blanda, Aikman (anyone could have won with those teams and likely put up equal numbers), and Moon off the top of my head. The one year he actually had a legit #1 receiver he went to a Super Bowl. Can't overstate how hard that is when you're 2nd and 3rd best receivers are Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell.

so you think the list should be all white?
