I really don't like to see him go. He was the perfect backup for this system.500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.Comment

Agreed. He's also stepping into a weird situation. Coach just got an extension so he doesn't need to save his job. Vick is better than Geno but he isn't a long term solution. And he'll get hurt anyway.Comment

Might be what Geno needs. Learn under Vick (sounds like a shitty option, but its better than learning from Matt Simms), and maybe be improved enough when Vick goes down in week 7 to take over the reigns and make a playoff run. They were only 1 game out of the playoffs last season. Maybe with some weapons, he can grow a littleComment
