  • its says more about Chip, Howie and Lurie than DJax if hes cut

If you cant find a way to make one of your top 3 players happy, then you will always have issues keeping players happy. Something is diseased at Novacare.

this aint college ball Chip. Welcome to being a grown ass man Howie. Lurie its time to be a man and make things right

Does it say something bad about them?

Other than the whole mess got out of hand?

It certainly doesn't say: they are coddling a soup salesman, prefer leaking shit to the media/using a stooge to get their message out, or interested in responding to rumors.

It says they are willing to not be as good of a team because they cant manage people properly. Its a complete organizational failure

Given no one has a clue as to why this situation came to be...

Laying blame on one side or the other seems foolish. We have no idea what led up to this, but I am thinking maybe it's about commitment, and that is also a guess. I read that Maclin was at Novacare just about everyday after his injury, working to rehab and get back in playing shape, which makes me wonder if DJax had done anything in the team facilities to show his drive to get better. Again, just a guess.

Sad thing is that DJ had his best season ever under Kelly's system, Reid and his buddy MV never got him close to those numbers. Does he really think that it was all his talent last year that accounted for his great leap forward, because if he does he is sadly delusional. I am willing to bet that if he leaves he will never get numbers like that again.

Everyone talked about how Foles was not Kelly's prototypical QB, well 10 is not his ideal WR either. Looking at the draft there are guys with similar speed and better size, and even have the character traits that Kelly covets. let's see how this all shakes out before we condemn the team, they generously rewarded DJ a couple of years ago and he is the highest paid player on the team, but unlike Reid, I just don't see Kelly catering to the diva side of DJax.

Isn't some of it carry over from the previous regime who gave Jackson that contract? Unless we assume it was 100% Howie.

HUH???OF course we have a clue how it came to be

what's foolish is to contend there have been no clues.

there are not THIS MANY press reports witholut there being substance to the fact that DJax ahs been made available. The strongest one being DGunn's report the Eagles "are not ACTIVELY seeking a trade but are listening to all offers." And the fact there has been no rebuttal of the rumors. The silence from NovaCare speaks volumes.

Is Jackson included in "organizational failure"

Unless some other information comes out, I don't see Jackson as having done anything to warrant this treatment.

And the fact that we haven't seen one of these writers really speak to some egregious act that DeSean has committed. I'm really tired of this. Every offseason there's some new dumb ass bullshit going on with this team.

I agree that it's better for a player to spend off seasons working out in the team's facilities. Having said that, I will note that Donovan McNabb NEVER did that and you didn't hear any complaints from the FO about him spending off seasons in AZ.

Do we even have a clue what the issue is with this whole thing?

Nope. Heres what it says--this is Kellys team and if youre not willing to be a team player he had no use for you. And its a message for everyone and I think theyre making an example of Jackson. Instead of whining about your contract after a tough playoff loss you should be concentrating on what would make the team better. Add to that his constant support of Vick during the qb competition and it showed Kelly he wasnt a team player.
