I just think it's interesting that so many fans who have bought into Kelly and what he's doing have suddenly turned on him because he might get rid of a player who has a roller coaster history of extreme talent and questionable desire.

In Kelly We Trust - Unless he gets rid of a player and the outcome of the following season is unknown.

I have not turned on anyone

because I dont know whats going on

          no one has been cut

          the offseason was a success

the draft is coming and we can bring in other Wideouts

we don't know what happening...Ohh I said that..

I like chipper so far...he needs to learn how to be an NFL head coach!

I will give him that chance to do that.

but we're not talking about the 53rd man on the bench. This is a player that produces, and does it very well. He helps the team win, so on one, well almost no one, wants to see him in another uniform. When a player holds out, the first thing out of fan's collective mouths is "honor your contract, you signed it !!" Well the Eagles need to do the same. They knew that he was scheduled to make 10.5 this year, they need to honor the deal. Is Howie not smart enough to try to re-do the deal to give DeSean a little more guaranteed cash ?

Bullshit. YOU NEED ANSWERS from Chip Kelly. He NEEDS TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING !!!!.

You'd made that point incredibly clear.

As for honoring contracts, don't give me this principled line of bullshit. You just said that we're not talking about the 53rd man. You only want them to honor it because you disagree with the idea that Jackson isn't necessary.

Did you want them to honor Babin's contract? What about Chung's? Where were your rants about it then?

As long as Kelly is winning and the program is moving forward he's going to have support from the vast majority of the fanbase. I dont have time to read every post or every thread here but only an imbecile would "turn on" Kelly after last year's coaching performance as a rookie working with FF's players.

With this smug ass attitude, trying to shit on fans who just want to know why the team is trying to get rid of one of their best players. God forbid we want to know that. If this team doesn't want any drama, they should do a better job of heading it off at the pass. Patrick Chung ?? Really ?? Get the fuck outta here with that noise.

This is all IF/THEN. If Kelly does cut Jackson then fans can and should legitimately question Kelly's ability to coach men and not just college boys.

As has been mentioned many times, what we do know of Jackson's personality is real small potatoes and not the fiasco level petulance we saw from TO. If Kelly can't handle that, then he doesn't belong in the NFL.

I said IF. I doubt Kelly can't handle it.
