Jackson himself, because he can peddle himself to 31 other teams.

It makes no sense for the FO to put this out there, it ruins any advantage in trade talks.

I don't think he wanted to be here without Vick,...HIS HERO...so to me it seems like this is where it really started.

And if this is true, would you want him to stay anyway?

    You are being silly

No. if Jackson can play out his current contract in effect he would be in great shape. This years contract is excellent for him... assuming he would play the season under those terms.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Jackson would be willing to play a season at the terms his Eagles contract offers him for this upcoming season. Problem is it isn't guaranteed, and is admittedly a lot of money. JoeLo set it up this way to force this moment.

Problem is from his perspective the Eagles can cut him at any time prior to the start of the season and owe him nothing. Also since Jackson is under contract to the Eagles he can't negotiate with any other teams unless they cut him.

That his numbers with Foles under center were far less than when his guy (Vick) was throwing the ball. He has to be nervous about where his numbers are going this year, which would be one reason he would want more guaranteed money. He ain't no rocket scientist, but might be smart enough to create enough of a frenzy to force them to cut him early enough to get a deal with another team. And not a team like the Raiders, who have the bucks to trade for him.

        His agent.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
