  • Evan Mathis also on the trade block

    Per Ian rappPort.

@RapSheet: Why can Evan Mathis be had via trade? At 32, he’s due $5.15M in salary in 2014, but he wants a new deal after breakout season, source says.

He can be replaced but I'd rather him stay at his current salary. No way he's getting more cash in Philly! I think if push came to shove, he'd shut up and stay because he's so comfortable w/ the Iggs right next to his buddy Kelce. Hell, I can't even tell those two apart!

That's what Cooper said about Jason Peters and Damaris Johnson.

The media seems to be under the impression that Chip is going to trade the whole team. He might even trade Lurie for the ghost of Al Davis and a conditional 4th rounder.

                    2014 $6.150 million cap hit

Mathis is under contract through 2016. I doubt he's moved unless they get an offer too good to refuse.

Why do you keep downplaying cooper's season? He was a pro bowl snub.

I've actually started calling him Riley Largent.

Don't celebrate after his td's next season please. Just sit there and sulk at how bad you whiffed on him actually being a player and not a scrub.

Bro, if we (all fans, of any team, in any sport) can't cheer for guys that we make fun of, there's no point in being fans.

When Shady's baby mama called him out on Twitter, I cracked jokes with friends about that. Am I not allowed to cheer for Shady?

As always, your overreacting to all things Cooper. At one point in time, I thought Cooper was a scrub. I now think Cooper is serviceable. If thinking Cooper is not the second coming of Fred Biletnikoff means I can't cheer for him, then I guess I can't cheer for him.

I've already admitted I was wrong about Cooper being a CFL player at best. Will you be man enough to admit he's not a superstar when he proves he's not, or will your obsession make that impossible?
