I read the story. I saw where my brother-in-the-media mentioned how Kelly "stopped short" of saying, "Hell NO we ain't letting him go," and tried to make it sound as though Chip's refusal to deny makes it possible Jackson is going bye-bye.

So, how's your ultra-talented daughter?

"we are not looking to trade him" would be a very easy thing to say. DJax is gone. The GM went out two days ago and would not even say his name; the coach today would not dispute that they are trying to trade him. He is bye bye. It really is that simple.

Do you realize what an idiot Roseman would look like if they kept him. he would not even say a word about him. either roseman is out of the loop or he is getting traded.

If you read the whole article, it's a mostly a bunch of nothing. Kelly is telling the chump reporters and hysterical fans that he'll do whatever he wants if he thinks it's the interest of the Eagles. They dont get advance notice or to tie his hands.

Also at the end Kelly says explicitly that DJax isn't demanding a new contract and that money is not an issue. I guess that's not inflammatory enough to get a headline.

Since Kelly talked to Jackson and Jackson has said publicly he believes he's staying, odds are he will be staying. I dont remember Kelly backstabbing anyone as of yet.

Mathis seems like a more legit story but apparently he doesn't get ratings.
