Not saying DJax killed anyone, or was even accused, but his affiliations w the Crips is just too dangerous for most NFL teams to tolerate at this point. And it sounds like those ties were growing, not receding, I would not be surprised that once everything comes out that his career will be over shortly. Damn shame, great player but you just can't hang with dudes associated with gangs and the murder of a 14 year old.

I don't think it's a smear campaign, it's the team saying enough is enough no matter how good he is. You combine what's in this news article with the 'burglary,' the guns, the flashing of gang signs (during a f***ing game!) and then add the reports of being late to meetings, etc. and I'm not surprised one bit.
