  • So I went over to PRAVDA

Houseman has a piece up fluffing Sanchez, and NO mention of anything involving Jackson. Typical.

Elsewhere on the site there is this:
"After careful consideration during this off-season, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to part ways with DeSean Jackson. The team informed him of his release today.

Jackson, 27, was drafted by the Eagles in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He recorded 356 catches for 6,117 yards in his six seasons with the team."
    That's all.

I'm starting to think there could be some legal reasons for the lack of commentary and it's not master media manipulation by Chip Kelly and HowLo.

I've heard the possibility of an anti-defamation lawsuit mentioned somewhere. That could be just DJax's people doing spin control, though.

they could not ignore a pro bowl player's release totally, but this is about as close as they could come.

Because they have no proof of any wrongdoing by Jackson.

I could be wrong but I believe Spadaro is a huge Jackson fan. He just about came in his pants when Jackson was selected in the draft. He also was especially google eyed every time Desean was a "guest" on his interview show over there.

He's likely trying to think through how to write a piece on it if he does one at all. Don't think Spadaro is the bad guy here.

I think he's probably under orders not to write anything about it right now. He had to have had some advance knowledge that this was likely to happen.

It's Not The First Time, But I Guess I Was Wrong

                      Chip Kelly IS stupid.

Unless there is a HELL of a lot more the team hasn't released about how Jackson was causing a locker room war the way The Wide Receiver Who Shall Remain Nameless did, there is no logic to this move.

The words have not been written that can do justice when describing the Eagles' brainless decision!!

I don't think this is totally a Kelly decision. You notice how Roseman or Lurie stayed silent when questioned about him??

This doesn't happen if Chip doesn't want it to happen. Thus, it really totally is Chip's decision.
