  • This organization is diseased and Lurie rots it from the top

These are the moves that Hollywood scum makes. The moves that only a prep school snot with daddys money would do.

Cant handle working with strong people. Cut them, smear them. Try to ruin their careers. Lurie is a nasty person.
    WANGNUTIAN. (pronounced wang-nooshan, martian)

    He's doing the right thing

It's not worth agonizing over it. Desean Jackson isn't Jerry Rice. He's not an elite receiver anymore. Actually, he never was. There's more to this and you know it. We won't find out what it is for years.

He is the common denominator. I'm waiting for the rest of the fallout but if there is no real smoking gun like some of the media like Gunn has eluded to than I will have a freshly renewed hate for this organization. Which means nothing to the Eagles.

But he DOES know it. Djax is a poser. Diggle knows this, and the Eagles obviously are aloof.

Chip is a little bitch who cant adjust to dealing with a pro level ego. Sure Djax is an asshole but he has failed because he cant handle him. Lurie creates the illusion that he is this compassionate, earth minded owner when he is just as big of a scumbag as Snyder. He may even be worse because he pretends hes high and mighty whereas Snyder knows hes a pos

I'll never forget the time Two Gap and I watched Lurie and Snyder joking it up and acting like good buds on the visitors sideline at the Linc.

                Should they have extended him?

Ive never criticzed the owner cause Lurie has shown the willingness to spend money and not involve himself in football decisions, which is all you can want from an owner. But this DJax release reeks something awful. Somebody fucked up at some level

How can people say this now until the truth comes out about Desean? It's something bad, I just know it.

We also let the great Reggie White go without an offer, and didn't offer the great Brian Dawkins shit. Sometimes, this organization just doesn't respect the best players that have come through here

Actually, you should blame the LAPD--they're the ones who called the organization and had said they wanted to talk to Jackson about the two murders that occurred. I will grant you that if they knew this back in 2011, then Roseman shouldn't have signed him to a contract extension in 2012. But why do you think Kelly can't handle what you call strong players? Because he decided to cut a WR who didn't have over 80 yards recieving in the last 5 games of the season when they won 4 of them so he perhaps figured to get a bigger player at WR that could bust man coverage? I remember a lot of people on this board pissing and moaning about how Jackson couldn't get past bump and run coverage; how a lot of people on this board bemoaned the Eagles "smurf" WRs--now one of them is cut and you want moan about it??? I'd say you have to wait until the regular season before you can wail and complain about the move.

                              Not Elite Anymore??

I like the precedent it sets and the tone in the locker room. I think it is very interesting and telling how all the players appear to be behind the decision. Not one has spoken up in support of Jackson...Quite the opposite.

At the same time, he was in the prime of his career and he is not a dime a dozen. I think it changes the whole dynamic of the team.

In Chip I trust, but he needs to deliver next year or I am grabbing my pitchfork. Not saying a Super Bowl, but we can't take a step back.
