    People Are Being Ridiculous Now

    Chip Kelly took a sinking ship and won the NFC East with it. I trust his judgment right now until this team fails on the field. Anyone with half a brain knows Desean is in alot of deeper shit than what is being reported right now. Who knows what it is. Cutting him after 2014 season would have been a better financial move if the team wanted to get rid of him thinking he is overpaid or not for the future. No way they make this move unless this is something serious that is going to happen down the road.

    No one is standing up for him, NO ONE on this team. There is some shit going on that soon enough we will find out. Maybe lawyers are telling the team to keep quiet. Who knows?

    500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

      Because I am convinced they are not smearing Desean. He did something serious. This isn't about missing meetings or wanting a new contract. They could have easily kept him this year and then replace him. This was not the right time. He was scheduled to be paid over $10 million and there is no good cap or contractual reason to cut him now. He was not going to hold out or do sit ups in his driveway. Something is up.

          We are a run first team under Kelly, so they are a luxury in this new offense. People going nuts over 1 player just know nothing about football, it's won or lost in the trenches, not on showboating deep catches. That's great you enjoy watching him, he is entertaining, but what has he ever won for us? He disappears in big games(the stats prove this) because teams just bump him all game. He has been an exciting regular season player for sure, but that really means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

              I have a sneaking suspicion that if they let Cooper walk in FA you would have posted at least 50 threads by now about how they just can't replace the production a player like Cooper brings.

              I'm 99.99% certain that in your eyes, every player on the Eagles (Shady and Foles included) is replaceable except Riley Cooper.

                  Agreed...But Jackson's deep threat opened up the running lanes for McCoy. That is the part that scares me most. Trying to replace all the room he opened up.
