Tell me something draft geeks

Considering I don't follow college football very much wanted to ask for corroboration. A colleague of mine is a huge college football fan and of the PAC 12 in particular having graduated from Univ of Arizona. He tells me this guy named Brandin Cooks is a better Desean Jackson than Desean Jackson.

What's the poop on him? Could they get him in the 2nd round like Jackson? Is he worth it? Is he worth 22? I just can't imagine a season with Maclin and Cooper as the starters. And if one of them gets hurt, the team is really fucked.

edited to add that I just googled him and the first article was one where he already bought his mom a Mercedes. The kid knows how to spend money he doesn't even have yet. Not sure I like that.

Thanks for the link. Read the blurbs on Cooks and Benjamin. The little guy outperformed the big guy in every category including bench press. Think I'd prefer Cooks.

Benjamin seems slower than Ertz. Think he has BC&J written all over him. Guessing that's who they'll take.

...and if you took time to read the article instead of just the headline you would have learned he won $100,000 at the combine from Adidas....so yes he does have the money and yes he's worth pick 22.

I'm the resident asshole who feels something is terribly sick about a society that worships consumerism. I did know he won 100k. It's the spending it on a luxury automobile that is disturbing to me considering the apparent poverty he grew up in. I would think he'd have a deeper understanding of what's important in life. Driving a mercedes benz isn't.

The Jets really like him and to get him the Eagles might have to move ahead of them.

Damn. I really like him too but they could desperately use Pryor/Clinton-Dix. If they could trade back into the first round or something I think they could earn a lot of respect back from the fan base..
