  • There Is No "He Did Something We Don't Know About"

If there was anything that anyone had enough evidence on DeSean, they most certainly wouldn't tell his current employer that in the near future he's going to be charged/implicated. Who would fuck up their own investigation like that? When you commit a MAJOR crime as most people seem to think is the case here, the law doesn't give you time to get your affairs in order (certainly not the amount of time this has dragged on), they bring your ass in and get a violent criminal off the streets as soon as possible.

The guy's attitude, work ethic, family history and friends are all exactly the same as when he came in the league. He is who we thought he was/is.

As Diggle has said, it's simple, Chip can't/doesn't want to deal with him, so he's gone. To borrow Les Bowen's word...I'd be "shocked" if anything major came out about DeSean. Coach didn't like him, coach has the final say...that simple.

Yup. After TO, the FO couldn't risk looking weak again so they smeared some gang stuff to make it seem deeper than it just being that they failed at managing him properly. Sickening

      I'm pretty heated

But only time will tell if the offense misses him.

For now I'm willing to give CK the benefit of the doubt.

And on top of all that

There's this bullshit about the Eagles not wanting to be the team to trade those issues to another team. What the fuck kind of weak, pussy shit is that ?? If another team is willing to take those issues on, and you know you're not going to keep him, GET SOMETHING FOR HIM. Since when did we start giving a fuck about the affairs and potential pitfalls of other teams ?? this FO really looks like a weak ass group right now, and I don't give a shit what Kelce thinks.

I've gotten to that point as well. What I can't get past is how did they get nothing for him and why cut him now? If there was nothing major behind all of this, why not hold onto him through the draft? I've moved to the part about how wr depth is a real issue going forward. I kind of almost expected them to be taking one early to groom as maclins replacement. A lot of things can obviously happen now but as it sits they are looking at a big question mark as the number one, cooper still on the other side, who is in the slot? Going even farther past that if everything works out as they are presumably hoping, maclin will have a steep price. It's a bit of a quandry.

There were several teams interested. This is fact. The Eagles didn't want to be the team to trade DeSean's "issues" to another team. That is weak as hell.

A very odd decision for sure. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite us

                  Interest or Offer??

Interest and offer are two different things. If it comes out that other teams offered anything for him, that is absolute bullshit. I hope you are wrong.

Ah, should have posted my thread here instead. I just don't think Kelly thought he was a necessary piece. He's proven he can manage a team. He did it last year. But he didn't think Desean was worth the headache, i.e., not good enough. I disagree but whatever. It's on Chip now.
