DeSean and Brandon Marshall are both Top 15 WRs in the NFL. One is more of a physical freak than the other, but at the end of the day, they both produce and are special players.

TWO teams got something for Marshall, a guy who ACTUALLY did shit off the field, the Eagles couldn't get a damn thing for DeSean, who did nothing but grow up in the wrong neighborhood.

Receivers are not one of the top 3 important positions on a team. That money is better spent on other positions. There are dozens of other receivers in the league that can put up the same numbers in this offense that you could get for half the $$. Also, everyone is so enamored with Jackson because of the highlight reel plays he made several years ago. Bottom line, he doesn't make or break this team.

Sounded a lot like whining to me....Well they didn't really lose him for nothing in my mind, 6.5 in cap space this year and a lot less drama for the long haul...was he doing anything special that was winning us playoff games I missed along the way? Thought not.

Who on the Eagles has been great in the playoffs as of late? They haven't been a very good team, and have come up rather small in big games in general. Might as well cut Shady, his playoff stats aren't anything to right home about.
