I love this race for a few reasons. From year to year the conditions chage. Beach erosion means the jetty you were jumpion over last year is covered with sand this year...or the sand you were running on is now a jjetty to be climbed.

Fan support all along the race route, particularly the south end when you are starting to die.

great comraderie amongst the competitors.

I will say this...it is the hardest 10-miler you will ever run. feels more like 15.
