  • Maybe he's not going to Washington after all

49ers we knew, but the Browns ????

EDIT : If he went to the Browns, they could potentially have Josh Gordon, DeSean, and Sammy Watkins. Damn.

And they'd still be on the Browns.

        Sounds Good To Me

If he signs with Cleveland, who cares? The Eagles and Browns so rarely meet he'd have little chance to come back and haunt us. The Niners? I liked them a lot in the Montana days and they're one of the NFC teams I still "like" when not playing the Eagles, so that would be a million times more preferable than having him sign with the team in Washington.

Living here in Cleveland let's me see more of what the Browns are trying to do here. I think that after their FO got out from under Banner and Lombardi, they put some good pieces in place with Pettine and GM Ray Farmer. Also, Brian Hoyer played very well in the couple of games he started before he got hurt, and they added a nice piece at running back with Ben Tate. I think the Browns are going to surprise people this year, and DeSean would most likely be a big part of that.

Washington doesn't have any money, I wondering what they were offering. I think they only have $7 million available. Maybe they were considering skipping the draft this year.

Why would I argue that point when Cleveland hasn't even BEEN to the Super Bowl ? The point was that since I live here, I'm privy to a lot more information about the Browns and can see somewhat firsthand, some of the moves that they've been making this offseason. Karlos Dansby, Donte Whitner, Ben Tate. They've added some nice pieces. They got rid of Ratface and that shithead Lombardi (Mike Lombardi, not the trophy). They have an elite WR in Josh Gordon, and if they add DeSean and Sammy Watkins to that, they have a very nice foundation on offense. Where did you get that I was arguing about Super Bowls ??

I'll bet you a case of Schlafly (I won't go all AB on you) that the Rams have a better record playing in the best division in football than the Browns. Insert your favorite micro in place, and we have a deal.

If the Browns finish with a better record than the Rams, you send me a case of Honey Brown. If the Rams have a better record, I'll send you a case of brew, as long as you don't ask for a beer that i have to order from the hills of Hungary.

I was thinking something local to our areas. Could just be a sixer of cans for shipping ease.

There's a place here called Willoughby Brewery that has some pretty good beers.
