Even before somebody trotted out the "gang ties" leak, people were bad-mouthing Jaccson (that spelling's going to take some getting used to) and talking up a relative bum, Cooper, who was rewarded with a longterm deal after uttering a racial slur and putting up numbers for a half season.

Hey... you are all entitled to your opinion but it amazes me how some of you guys swallow the shit sandwiches this team loves to hand to the fans.

I mean, most people were toeing the company line of chip until this happened. There's a few known outliers (maniac comes to mind), but generally, everyone was gobbling chip

      I was/am a huge Chip supporter

I think the guy is a brilliant offensive mind...and he won with a Reid"s (FF) players.

But he made a big-time mistake here, IMO. Unless something comes out that Jackson is charged with a felony...I'm not seeing this move even a little bit. But I'm sure the kool aid krew will school me there.

I wouldn’t go that far, but I generally agree. If it was just Jaccson not working with Chip, I’d be ok if they just said it. The idea that it’s gang-related, if untrue or unfounded, is pretty offensive to any intelligent fan.

that might not be an issue now that #10 no longer on the field with him.

We usually agree and maybe I'm misunderstanding, but....

DeSean Jaccson is not a complete receiver. He's a nice receiver. There are alot of those. The guy disappeared in the red zone. He gave up on his team. Dude: What are you going to do? Lean on stats to make your case? You've never done that. Stats can be misleading.

Cooper just had his career year. They will pay attention to him now and with Jackson gone - the defense has easy choices. If they use the draft to get a WR AND continue to ignore the D...Chip leaves town on the midnight express out of 30th st station.

Let's wait until the draft to say that. I have a feeling they will go WR first pick, and d the second pick.

I think they expected an upcoming TC hold out by DJ, and if that happened we would have had a true FIASCO to deal with. At the end of the season DJax said, 'I think my agent has a good off season game plan," now for a player under contact what does that mean? If the team says they don't want to, then all you can do as a player is holdout.

Yes Jackson made some big plays, but not all that consistently, even last year. He racked up 195 receiving yards in the loss to the Vikes, then was invisible in the Bears, Dallas, and most importantly Saints game. You think seeing him shut down by a single CB in a playoff game might have left Chip wondering if is he worth it?

The fact he signed in Washington, for less than the ten million/year he wanted, and never even visited another team, speaks to how hot a commodity he really was. One player, except for maybe a franchise QB, never makes or breaks an NFL team. I am just going to see how this plays out before making any judgement calls.

You dont go with the blind allegiance to mnaagement. I have a problem with those who consistently take it up the ass and claim they don't.

You know Im not a stats/numbers guy. I am a fan who has watched this guy make big plays hios entire tenure here. A guy who scares the shit out of opposing defenses. A guy who adds value as a punt returner capable of taking it to the house each time he touches the ball.

Oh well...its over. I'm just not happy about it. These guys raised ticket prices again and they dumped one of the best players on the squad and got nothing in return.

Take away DJAx, there wouldn't be playoff stats to review. Lame argument.

There is something to be said for the lack of support from the rest of the team for Djax. Ignoring KKKooper, Maclin and Kelce certainly mean something.
