Definitely. I think his contract didn't help but there are missing pieces of this story. Still it is an absolute front office debacle just cutting him when they cut him.

If the "gang ties" had nothing to do with them cutting Jackson, they should say so. If what they know is worse than that, they may be doing him a bit of a favor by not talking.
It is possible that is why Desean isn't going on any sort of crusade to get them to publicly explain their reasoning.
I doubt it, the FO is probably in the wrong here, but we really don't know much at all.

You could definitely be right

Yeah -- There's No Hope Here
We're talking about a team that has a high powered offense, scores a ton of points and spreads the ball around so every player gets into the action -- a team that has a defense that got damn good as last season went on but still has room for improvement, making it a perfect place for talented college defensive players who would have a chance to fill a position of need and start immediately.
You're right -- no self-respecting blue chip college football player would ever want to be a part of that."If I owned Texas and Hell, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell!"

We do usually agree and I get what you are saying.. I am pissed we lost him because of his production, but Chip must feel he can replace him in this years draft.
I just think Jaccson was more of a cancer in the lockerroom then we know about, notice how not one player on the team is bent out of shape about him leaving?

I'm coming to a gayte just to fight. I have a list. "I came here to do two things...whoop some ass and eat a pepper, I'm fresh out of peppers."500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

And it certainly doesn't mean DJax was a locker room cancer. There is no evidence of that at all.
Hell, you had players threatening to fight Riley Cooper. Now that's a bad locker room situation.Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, some teammates have became frustrated with Jackson’s attitude, even before he missed a meeting and drew a deactivation from coach Andy Reid. According to the source, Jackson is perceived as moping and pouting and generally being more concerned about his contract than helping the team win games.

That was 2011 when he was admittedly concerned about his contract.
Having some players dislike you does not equal locker room cancer. If the Eagles locker room was that bad last season, they would never have gotten past Cooper and never have won the division. I dont buy the locker room cancer angle. The league is full of divas.
