That's what I was saying earlier. If he shows that he can continue where he left off WITHOUT Jaccson, I would do something to lock him up for a while. I'm not talking at the end of the season either. I'm talking about mid-season. QB is too valuable of a position. Ya know what? I'm alright with that. If DJac was the casualty of locking up our franchise QB, so be it. He is INFINITELY more important to us than a guy that makes 4 catches a game.
I don't think they can re-do his deal until after this season, per the new CBA.

1. I didn't bring up stats. Beavis did.
2. The Jackson comparison includes Eagles of today. He would have been their best receiver ever in two seasons.
3. Tommy McDonald's numbers look pretty good for an old timer.
