So why don't the Eagles end the speculation? They brought this on by releasing him a half hour after the nj.com article. You think that was coincidental. I don't. Either way, why shouldn't they explain their thinking?Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship

I've thought a bit on this and cannot come up with a decent reason for why the Eagles would let the national media run with the gang story as a reason they cut him that doesn't make them look like assholes for not clearing it up if it wasn't the reason.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Needing proof, I don't jump to conclusions about orchestrated smears easily, although I get the skepticism of those who suspect the timing not to have been coincidental.
However, even if there was no hands-on smear, silently watching that national media frenzy if they knew it wasn't true seems to be some dastardly shit to me.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

If they said no he has no ties to a gang before a team signs him then it breaks he is involved in a gang slaying or something would the team that signed him have recourse against the Eagles? I guess what I am saying is by not saying anything are they/were they possibly just covering their asses?
