They aren't that good. Glad they overcame that epicly bad start and made the playoffs though. Don't know if "Chief" is an answer as Coach, but he did turn things around. They still need some pieces (defensemen).

How do you figure that? Rangers are the likely opponent and I think Tampa is about impossible in the first round.

The #2 and #3 seeds from within the same division play eachother in the first round. Montreal and Tampa would play eachother as it stands now, Flyers would play the rangers.

? I could be confused, but I think with the change in divisions, the playoff structure is separated by division. the Middle 4 of the divisions play each other (i.e. 2 and 3 player each other in each div)
