You've (quite shockingly) made the point that Meb Keflezighi was not born in the United States although he is a citizen and has been one for 16 years and he grew up in the United States from the age of 12. He's speny the vast majority of his life in the United States and has in fact represented the United States on multiple occasions in the Olympics.
He's not Bernard Lagat, also an American citizen, who was naturalized at the age of 30 and had competed for Kenya in the Olympics prior to his change in citizenship.
Regardless, your ridiculously erroneous example of Sharapova doesn't fit either of these Americans because she's not even a citizen.
Needless to say, what's your point? He's American and not only that he's represented his country, the United States of America, for numerous years.Last edited by TerpEagle; 04-21-2014, 05:45 PM.--
