it is beyond my comprehension how anyone can think starting the "hot" goalie is a good idea. a goalie is hot until he isn't. it's like riding the hot hand at quarterback(though not as bad). it's so hard to predict what will happen on a micro level, but if you know what will happen on the macro level, you go with whichever goalie is better on average.
