Actually quite a few Eagles - like Shady - have gone on the record saying DJax was solid. The smears have all been unnamed sources.

My opinion is that Maclin is as much as a diva as DJax but far less talented. I think Kelly will draft a big fast receiver to replace him. It's not like Maclin has ever produced a first down for Kelly.

Meh, I've never read anything indicating that Maclin is a diva. To the contrary, I've read he's a good teammate. He probably didn't like Jackson but I doubt it was because of touches. He probably thought he was a d*ck. I guess I don't see the hate for Maclin. Seems to just be a result of being upset about Jackson.

He says that Desean is one of the better playmakers in the league, that doesn't sound like talking shit. He also says that teams need 2 good receivers on the outside, that doesn't sound like a guy that would be upset about playing "second fiddle"
