The Eagles saved $6.75 million in cap space and $12.5 million in cash this year ... and will continue to save millions against the cap for the balance of his contract.

Peppers and Ware may be long in the tooth but, Ware particularly, isn't done.

The Broncos signed him to a 3-year 30 million dollar contract with $20 million guaranteed.

That's more than Jackson got.

Well they aren't going to use the 6.7 (really 5 but why squabble) since they have over 20 mill in cap space. So it really comes down to Lurie pocketing the 12.5. I guess youre looking at it like lurie needs the money but from a purely cap finance standpoint it means nothing to anyone other than jeffrey lurie (and for some strange reason slag) whether the eagles paid jaccson 12 mill in 2014 or not. So I guess the only question is why does it matter to slag so much who gets that money, Jeffrey or desean. Cause the matter of where that money goes impacts no other person or entity on this planet.
