  • Man, Shazier is really starting to make me want him at 22

He is a sideline to sideline beast. Amazing in space, great instincts.

If he is truly close to 240lbs I could see him being A Derrick Brooks type of talent. Man I could see him wrecking shit all over the field in Davis's defense. Barwin on 1 side and him on the other?

LB crew of those 2 plus Ryans and Kendricks could be nasty. A little small but 3 of the 4 are great athletically.

I despise OSU but am starting to want Shazier to be the pick at 22 for us.

        He can't carry the weight.

According to scouts, he strained his hammies both at the combine and his pro day while trying to run at the extra weight.

How long do you think a 225 pound linebacker lasts in the league? I guess he could, but he'll be going up against bigger players at every position. When they play the Raiders, the fucking KICKER will be bigger than him.

I remember Fredo not being able to shed a block from a TE.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

Pryor I didn't want us to trade up for and it's become pretty clear he will be gone when we pick.

He just needs some of chip's smoothies and a year in eagles strength and conditioning program.

              He'll be fine.

Not me. Guard is a definite need too. Herremans blew at times last year. If
The kid from ucla is taken with a high pick I won't bitch at all.

I feel like Kelly just knows what the fuck he's doing. The whole Jackson business has me worried, but I'm confident Kelly is going to keep the offense from losing steam without him.

Kelly might have the problem of thinking he's smarter than everyone else, which is what we all hated about Reid. But even if he does think that, there's a chance it's true this time around.

He won't be there. I'm looking at guys who might be in the 20's.

Mosley more than likely going in the teens.

Mosley could very well be available at 22. ILBs have a tendency to drop on draft day. That said, I don't know if the Eagles would take mosely even if he is there. Its hard to justify drafting a non-quarterback in the first round who is gonna sit on your bench for a year. I'm not buying the keuchly comparisons either. Keuchly was far better at disengaging blocks than mosely. Shazier is not a first rounder this year either. I actually like van noy more than shazier.

Ilb do drop but I cannot see him getting past bears. They need ILB so badly and Mosley is just A's across the board both in level of play and leadership qualities.

Van Noy I don't love for some reason. Makes some great plays but seems to lack a lot of strength. Plays smaller than 245 to me. Inthink he will struggle vs NFL linemen quite a bit. I wouldn't take him over Shazier. Should be fun to see where these guys wind up. Maybe Van Noy is this years Kiko Alonso. I saw a lot more of Shazier to be fair but Shazier stood out as the best player on ohio states defense every game. He's a freakish athlete and plays with nasty intentions.
