I cant see it for the players they mentioned. Particularly Benjamin who would still be there in the 2nd round. Howie may be telling everyone he wants to trade up for a reciever, but unless he pulls a Falcons-type move into the top 5, my guess is theyll take the best defensive player. Beckham, Cooks and Lee are all projected to go in the 19-32 range.

Since Jeffy bought the team, there's been 19 drafts. The Eagles have selected 19 DEs in that time. Maybe I'm missing something, but, 1 player a year at a position that is vital to your defense and a position that requires multiple roster spots doesn't seem like a bad thing?

They haven't hit on many, and that's not good, but I have no problem drafting 1 a year.
