I'm heading out to Green Bay for the game in November. I think we are going to fly into Milwaukee instead of GB. Even by renting a car and driving to GB we are still going to save over $100. How far of a drive is it form Millwaukee to GB? What is Millw. like as a town? Is it worth spending a few hours or should we just go right to GB? What is teh weather usually like in Mid November?

Fly to Milwaukee or even Madison and then head directly to GB
Takes about 1.5- 2 hours depending on traffic- early is always best and then wait as long as you can after the game before heading back to MKE because the traffic will be bogus.
On gameday, there are many lots close by, but forget trying to park at Lambeau. People will be lined up in their cars/trucks at 5 am for those spots
Best spot I've used is on Stadium Drive; people park cars on their lawns ($20) and then you can tailgate in their back-yard which opens directly into the Lambeau lot. There are many other lots right around the stadium too and many many streets are filled with people parking cars on their lawns. Its weird, but the Stadium is in the middle of a residential neighborhood
Ans as long as you're not a douchebag, you shouldn't have much trouble with the locals. Pretty tame bunch as far as opposing fans
Get there early and enjoy the atmosphere
