  • So if the pick that you wanted wasn't there

in the first round, don't you go best player available?
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

How do you "Panic" when you have 8 months of work into it?

I thought we were going safety in the first.

I think they wanted the Cornerback and when he was picked they panicked.

They can pick up a good safety later. I was expecting WR.

I guess HowLo had a different player he wanted.

They just credited Belicheat for taking a player who no one else in the league valued. Chip certainly isn't Andy, so I guess this is where we see if he's more Belicheat than Reid.

Howie panicked. Even if he turns out to be serviceable, they drafted him in the wrong round. It's like they didn't even have a first-rounder this year.

This seems likely. Howie overplayed his hand because he was in love with the perceived value of trading down a few spots for a third. I think they thought they were gonna trade down again but couldn't find the trade partner. Theyre obviously real high on smith so well see.

They'll add a few wrs tomorrow and maybe a secondary guy.

Reeks of a "smarter than everybody else" pick. I hope it works.
