are re-signing Riley Cooper, getting rid of DeSean Jackson and getting nothing in return while you watch him sign with a division rival, passing on one of the draft's best corners when you need DB help, and drafting an outside linebacker that was projected to be a second or third round pick, with the 26 pick overall. Benefit of the doubt, indeed......

I think Chip believes that a pass rush makes the secondary. You can have an all star secondary, but if your getting 0 pressure on the QB, even the best will get picked apart. He's building from the inside out."But again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look in the mirror."

Where the hell are you guys seeing Marcus smith as a third rounder??? He's a late first/ early second... Needed a pass rusher who was a fit in 3-4, smith fit that... Extremely mobile and can drop back in coverage some, while potentially being a good pass rusher... I wish they would of taken Dennard but the pick isn't outrageous

The problem isn't so much taking Marcus Smith
Originally posted by phillyeagles36 View PostNope.. I don't pay close attention to this but when I looked more up on him, he didn't seem to be a bad fit at all... Mobile, has some good pass rushing moves, decent length, can drop back... I said it was a reach in a previous post but just about every site I saw has him going late first/early second.. I wanted Dennard too.. Makes too much sense with this team thoLast edited by Eagle In Ohio; 05-09-2014, 09:33 AM.The truth is incontrovertible. with the way that first round played out
Originally posted by phillyeagles36 View PostI agree...made too much sense to pick Dennard... I was shocked it wasn't him or lee.... But, they were trying to trade down, no one was taking, and he definitely would not of been there at 54, so they picked smith... Whatever. Pick is a C-...
