The Eagles don't know how to rate defensive backs

Its pretty obvious that this front office is deficient in comparing defensive backs to other positions. When Howie says he doesn't like the safety group and more safeties get drafted in the first round than any draft since 2007 it shows they vastly differ in their rating process than other teams. When a top three corner falls in his lap and he deals down it proves that second round talents at other positions are viewed as more important to tbe eagles than top talent in the defensive backfield.

Of course this all supposes that howie wasn't lying when he said be was going to take the best player available.

If the eagles really are taking bpa there is a disconnect in this scouting department as to how valuable defensive backs are in today's nfl and it needs to be addressed.
