  • Changing my tune to the Eagles draft to neutral.

Maybe Huff was drafted slightly high, but he is a player I thought would be on the Eagles radar for obvious reasons. I don't mind them taking two WR's especially considering they need an elusive player to compliment the bigger bodies.

It appears Matthews plays full throttle all of the time, so the videos out there don't reveal
Matthews' explosiveness. Does he have it? Can he change speeds? James Thrash played that way (and that's not an insult). Let's see if he can get in and out of cuts, etc. A change of speed is important even on fly patterns.. He certainly has a lot of positive qualities.

Smith may have been a slight reach, despite reports of other teams interested in him. Even before the Jackson drama, my heart was set on getting a WR in the 1st. A lot of us wanted a WR. IMO, Smith doesn't seem like a day one starter. I think he has upside. I don't know if this is good, but it looks as if he has a frame to put on 20 pounds without a problem, but can he cover at that weight?

Unlike past defenses, OLB is a premium in Davis' defense.

Makes it easier to take if you think that they drafted Matthews in the first and Smith in the second...turned out they got both so why not be glad no matter which spot they were drafted.

          He needs one more, then.

Because Bellamy was the first pick of the three and he ended up sucking.

I like all the players except huff. There were plenty of WR left better than anything Oregon had. Such a dumb pick

I know nothing of Huff but I've heard he is a Hines Ward type...I'd take that. Looks like a tuff and quick receiver, hopefully he'll be our Wes Welker.

He's is definitely going to get a shot to do it. Chip will want to show that Jackson is replaced by a more physical team player like huff. And Mathews was a luxury. Lol. Either way this next season wil be awesome. Hope the d can be solid. We don't need great. Just solid.

I like the pics, including Smith. I think they could have done better maneuvering and gotten more. Still have Graham...

Still looks like the Saints played Howie like a cheap violin. Nothing can change the fact that they went into the first day wanting one of 6 players in the 1st round and didn't get any of them.

If they didn't cut Jackson until after the draft, Cooks would have fallen to them. It was as stupid a thing to do as has ever been done by an Eagles executive. Maybe the third worst FO move in the history of the franchise after trading Jurgenson for Snead and letting Reggie walk without even an offer.

While you're playing tickle monster with some old geezer who shoots underhanded on the court, I'm breaking down youtube vids of drafted players, damn it!

                              I'm changing my tune.

Smith is the best pick and should start. I still can't figure out Matthews. I foresee Huff getting more time than Matthews at the slot position this year.

                              Beau Allen. WTF?
