      500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

            The kid had 11.5 sacks and was co-defensive player of the year in the SEC. Any other player who did that (and wasn't gay) would have been picked way before now. This kid didn't put up those numbers in the MEAC, he did it in what is considered by many to be college football's premiere conference.

                The NFL network put up his combine numbers comparing them to pass-rushers of a comparable athletic profile. Made his numbers look really bad.

                I thought it was an interesting choice to put up combine numbers proving how un-athletic Sam is. I'm wondering if the NFL was trying to protect themselves against a PR backlash if he goes undrafted.

                  It's all a bunch of company talk

                  This will be the first time in 8 years that the SEC defensive player of the year was not drafted in the first round. A guy like Seantrel Henderson, who was being compared by many to Jonathan Ogden when he was coming out of high school, can't stay away from the weed to save his life, and still gets drafted by Buffalo, but Michael Sam hasn't gotten a call ?? Come on, now.

                    Wasn't his workout metrics pretty poor? Thought I heard that at some point in the offseason. I suppose one can argue that Bridgewater's workouts sucked too.
