  • Chip doesn't go for high motor players

He prefers players with high football IQ.

We will see how this plays out.

I just read somewhere that Howie had to talk chip out of taking Hart at the spot where they took watkins. He basically had to guarantee to chip that hart would be there in the fifth or wherever they picked him up. Why didn't they just stick to bpa. Howie shit the fucking bed when the saints traded up.

Kiper gave eagles a B+ draft grade.

Higher than the reigning SB champ Seahawks and plenty of other squads.

Maybe we should watch them play before tearing the org a new asshole. More I hear about who liked smith the more I'm ok with what they did. The 2 WR's appear to be very solid additions and spent the rest of the picks filling holes and adding depth on a shoddy defense.

Why? Because with only 6 picks he wasn't willing to give up a 3rd to move up two spots?? C'mon, as has been said, the Bills set the bar with their ridiculous trade for Watkins. Every team was expecting a bevy of picks or one in the first 3 rounds to move up 2 or 3 spots in the first.

Look at the history of the Eagles and their move ups on draft day. They gave the Browns a 6th to move from 21 to 19 when they chose Maclin; they gave SF a 2nd to move up 13 spots in 2004 to draft Shawn Andrews. And look what the Eagles got from the Browns for just moving down 4 spots late in the first--a 3rd rounder, should have been only a 4th.

Kiper? The guy who initially gave the '11 draft a c+ then a c?This is rushtojudgementphans and I'm getting my picks in.

Obviously it has to play out but aren't you kind of tired of the we are smarter than everyone? I know I was, like fifteen years ago.

Bpa does not mean trade up, but awesome history lesson that nobody fucking cares about.

Who blow people up. At least on defense. Smart guys like Bambi who eat their lunch in their cars should start a hair salon.

The truth of this draft is we do not know how it will

Play out. Year two and a trend of bigger, stronger and smarter players being drafted under Kelly.

Who will have impact right off the bat?

Matthews- slot WR, going to see a bunch of time on the field.
                Huff- Sub packages and PR.
Marcus Smith rotational OLB behind Cole.
Watkins might push for a starting CB by mid season at very worst dime package this year.

Those who were looking for this or that player are only rattling of what they saw on the internet. none of us are Pro-scouts and our opinions are just that.

This was not a sexy draft but one that championships might be built from. we need to develop 3 starters from this draft.

Chip likes players that didn't have the talent to leave earlier. I agree they're smarter to realize they won't have a long career in the NFL and are preparing for life afterwards.

I see matthews making an impact. I don't see watkins supplanting Williams or Fletcher. I thought Fletcher played really well last year. Smith is apparently a project? I'm surprised Graham didn't get dealt?

Didn't Chip do enough in his first year to earn trust? Man this Anthony, Greenstealth, and J Cruz need to find a new team to root for.

What part of Buffalo's move made a 3d some kind of onerous price to move up?

How about smart guys who lead the best college conference in receiving on a team where he's the only guy the other team has to stop?

They need to just draft football players. If you don't like thugs, that's fine. Don't get cute with this 'high football IQ' bullshit. You end up with reaches.

For the record, I think Phil Savage is partially to blame here, also. I don't know exactly why but my gut tells me he still has an opinion this organization values.
