Won't be long before this is reflected in RB salaries across the board. And after that, it won't be long before the best college athletes decide to play a different position that will bring them more money in the pros, which will devalue RB's even more moving forward.

I think the best college athletes will shun the position in order to maximize their earning potential in the pros. Five years from now, college running backs won't be as good as they are now.

We've already pretty much lost the Fullback position. Future RB's will just be another receiver who runs the ball once in a while.
