Wiggins is a fine athlete but let's be honest

All I know about Exum is he started getting buzz because Wiggins and Parker skipped whatever they call the NBA pre-draft combine. Embiid is talked about as this great center prospect but I dont see it. Averaged what, 10 a game? Certainly not dominant. They were more of an outside-in type of college team so who knows what (as you stated) Brown might be able to do with him. Should be interesting!

          Fine?

You must really not like Wiggins if you're now downplaying his athleticism. It's the one thing about him that everyone agrees on.

I dont dislike him. I think he is gonna be a decent player eventually. I just dont see this magical upside everyone has pinned on him. He can be a nice complimentary piece down the road. But I'd be stunned if he is ever a true max contract player. What are you seeing in his game that suggests otherwise? Because when I've watched Kansas embid was the dude who looked like he had the potential to be the best player on an nba team.

This may be the first time I've ever heard someone have concerns about feet shuffling. Yikes! I thought I've heard it all. Fucking feet shuffling in the NBA. Have you ever watched a game in the NBA? I hate myself for even replying to this. My god I hope you're kidding.

I want Embiid and Stauskas (or Gordon if he falls to 10)

I dont get the Embiid love

is it because the game has evolved more outside-in? Maybe I'm missing it.

If they went Embiid and Gordon, would you move Nerlens then? I can't see how all three could fit together.

If he is gonna be allowed to do this then I'm on board with wiggins as the number one. If you're saying that players routinely shuffle their pivot foot without consequence in the nba then andrew wiggins will be better than Jordan was. I dont believe you but I'm willing to concede that you watch more nba than me so I guess I should accept that you're more versed in this matter than I am.

Now I still can't believe you haven't cited where it was written that hinkie had wiggins rated number one on his board. Oh wait, of course I can believe that because the hot air steams off the monitor when I read your vapid posts.

A 7'0 with his athletecism does not come around often. Just look at the NBA and how few good centers there are. Embiid is 100 times the athlete that Roy Hibbert is.

I happen to agree with Snakebitten about Parker, he does seem like another Carmelo, with mediocre defense at best. I'd prefer Wiggins to him.

Why not? It would provide great front court depth. I'm into taking the best player available. Plus it'll be easier to find guards via Free Agency and next years draft (they're going to be back in the lottery).

It would be easier to do this if embid didn't have a spotty injury history. His back problems look chronic. I can't see him playing much more than 60 games a year. Between him and Noel the sixers would have an island of misfit toys in the trainers room.

Talking about Parker or Wiggins is about as bad as it gets when in comes to mushing this lottery. Now, I have no doubt we will be talking about Julius Randle or trading the #10 or #11 to unlikely try and move upward later tonight. Book it.

Ok I hadn't seen that. If they want him that bad so be it. He has a lot of work ahead of him but maybe they hit pay dirt. If they dont get him they should be pleased with randle or parker. Sometimes its better to be unlucky than good.
