Its a money grab and while I don't blame them for trying it - they really have nobody but themselves to blame. They can ask the team doctors, they can ask their own doctor, they have immense resources available to them.
They did nothing.
Even today, the players take all kinds of BS supplements with full knowledge that many of them are bogus and full knowledge that they are breaking the rules. They get informed by the league, by their agents and by their teams
And yet they still do it...
Rarely a week goes by that some player is popped for taking banned stuff- despite all the info available and the non-stop messaging from the league and teams
Grow a pair and take some responsibility for your own actions; claiming teams forced them to dose is a crock of shit. They willingly did it to further their careers and 99% of them would do it again
Maybe they win some cash out of this deal, bully for them. But the coddling and shifting of blame is a steaming pile.
They are adults, time to start acting like it

The resident idiot and pathetic ass weigh in.
This is about safety, it's not about extending their already too short careers.
Wait ... I mean ... it's capitalism ... the owners trying to make money off the players ... wait ... or are the players trying to maximize their earning potential?
Fuck ... I'm confused.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Was he attempting to impugn my sagging physique or my obviously superior intellect ?
Jeremy Newberry says they ( NFL teams) concealed injuries and blood work results from the players...if true, that's pretty bush league.
They should sue those bastards...

Speaking of the NFL- check out Chris Kluwe, former viking punter at a TED talk showing off how augmented reality will change the game of football for fans, coaches and players. Pretty amazing shit
Chris Kluwe wants to look into the future of sports and think about how technology will help not just players and coaches, but fans. Here the former NFL punter envisions a future in which augmented reality will help people experience sports as if they are directly on the field -- and maybe even help them see others in a new light, too.
