SHAME everyone into thinking how I do ???

I used the word "agenda" once, so I wouldn't say I "keep throwing that word out there." I also used it for lack of a better term. If I had to identify an agenda of yours though, I would say your agenda is to shame people into feeling exactly how you feel, as strongly as you feel. We don't disagree on the merit of the name. It's clear though that you want to argue with me because I simply don't feel as strongly about it as you do.

That's what you gather from this. Seriously, think of the people who have been posting on this board, and try to fine ONE that you think I could shame into agreeing with my position. I've met a good number of these dudes face to face, and I can tell you, it's not happening. Again, I WELCOME debate on this and any other topic. Not because I think that I'm a better debater than anyone else, but I like to engage in intelligent discussion. The majority of the posters on this board are more than capable of doing that, and there are some that aren't. I don't need to shame anyone into thinking like me. That's the whole point of debate, point and counterpoint. If you don't agree with my position, or don't feel as strongly about it as me, that's your right, and I'm not going to stress about it.

Well I'm all for debating, as long as you're debating what I actually say and not attributing someone else's feelings or thoughts to me simply because you lump everyone who doesn't feel the way you do together. Maybe it was unintentional, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Let us agree on one thing: regardless of what the Washington franchise ends up calling itself, they can all eat a dick.

I think you can trace most of this increased discussion and awareness of the name to the time where he arrived in D.C.

That's a VERY Washington- centric point of view and completely disregards what is going on in this country. The current hue and cry isn't due to a player or a W/L record- its due to the changes in attitudes for people and the media

What was acceptable before isn't now. Riley Coopers' affair had nothing to do with W/L records or relevance of the eagles- it had everything to do with a change in culture that is happening slowly but surely across the USA.

What happened with Incognito and Martin had nothing to do with the Dolphins playoff chances. WE are changing and the washington fans can either join the march toward decency or be left behind...
