  • Shocker: embiid's foot all jacked up

Cavs already reportedly not considering him at 1. Focusing on Parker and Wiggins.

    Per espn and Bill Simmons.

That's bad for the Sixers. They'll have to give up a lot more now to get in the top 2.

Awful and unbelievable if true. I guess I was in the 10 percent that thought the guy was healthy.

depends on how it happened. if he was just walking and broke it...yuck.

if he was carrying something or walked into something...eh, not a big deal.

I hear you, but hard to imagine Cavs or Bucks passing on Wiggins and Parker even if it's minor. Why take the risk when you've got these other options?

Hopefully Dante Exum is the real deal.

Sixers tank in a year with supposed game changers, end up with Dante Exum.

              Philly problems.

I think they're in love with Exum so this is insignificant. Their top 3 probably will intact.

I have no interest in Exum. I'd rather trade back to 6 or 7 and get Smart.

Either way it would be very disappointing.

The Negadelphian in me knows it's a given that Embiid slips to LAL or BOS, never has an injury again, turns into Hakeem 2.0 and they win 5+ championships with him.

i recall right after the draft simmons was saying embiid was going #1 overall. period.

is this foot issue chronic? i don't care if he's not healthy this coming season. i'm infatuated with the idea of noel and embiid on this team.

                        The foot isn't chronic (yet)

However, he had the back issues which teams were already scared of plus this. As nerd said, if he dropped a weight on it or something, no big deal, but if he broke it for no other reason than being a 7 footer, then that's a major concern.

The memory of Greg Oden's failed career is fresh in everyone's mind, especially with KD being the current MVP of the league.

I thought I read Dante Exum has a FT% around 60%. This team would be loaded with young players who can't shoot. Hinkiemania is about to stop running wild. I can't say I didn't see this coming.

Cavs now say they want to work out Exum...possibly taking him at #1. I just don't see it...

All I can say is this...if they give up the # 10 to move up one or two spots, Hinke should be fired immediately.

Good question. I guess the answer is that the Sixers have the third pick and they take bad risks on damaged players. This is their business plan.
