    Confidential to Tattoophans

    Does anybody have a team logo tattoo? I saw this guy this morning with a big Foreskin logo inked up on his forearm with Redskins in Old-English across the top. I wanted to give him shit but he left too quickly.


    I was thinking about getting the 1987 logo mixed into my sleeve.



    500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

    I've already voiced my opinion on those logos - they all blow except 96.

      What are you thinking about getting? I warn you, getting ink is addicting. It starts with one, then you wake up a year later with 30.

        Never pulled the trigger on a tat and I'm my mid-30s now, so doubt I will. Always loved that original logo, though. I really do think if I ever said screw it, I'm getting ink, that'd be it.

          Will be 57 in Oct. still virgin skin, my son has a studio in Bethlehem and drew me up a custom Eagles tat, just not sure I am ready for one, maybe when I'm 70?

            I'm late 30s and i'm scheduling an appointment for next week right now. Maybe tattoo number....somewhere in the teens.

                      My wife is an artist so she designs a lot of my stuff. Like they say, they are forever so take your time and decide. Something related to your family or heritage is never a bad idea.

                            I never was going to get any tattoos, but I said "if the Phillies, Eagles or Sixers ever win a title, I'll get a tattoo for that."

                            When the Phils won, I got a tattoo for that, but I wanted to get it somewhere that was easy to conceal for work, but easy to show when I wanted to, so I got it on my right calf. Immediately fell in love with tattoos and said "F it, the Eagles aren't winning anytime soon, I'm just gonna go get it now." I followed suit and got the logo on the left calf.

                            Since then I have started what will amount to half sleeves on both of arms. I love my Philly sports tattoos, I just wish I would have known I was going to get even more, and gotten them on my arms as well.
