  • Proof that soccer has come a long way in the US

I'm still as pissed at Michael Bradley this morning as I was at Mitch Williams the morning after he gave up that dinger to Carter in '93.

    level of agreement 1000%

The only comparative I've been able to come up with is to McNabb.

No question Bradley was a main reason in the USMNT's success, but in the biggest game, on the biggest stage, he came up small.

      He's been very erratic.

A bit dated, but it's a nice breakdown of football vs soccer and American appreciation of sport.

I must admit I hate soccer but watching the games this year hasn't been quite so bad. Last year I started watching the NBA playoffs so maybe soccer is a natural progression?
