    I'm ok with Embiid

If they have the medical records and Hinkie does not believe it is a long term thing then go for it. He may have been number 1 overall but for the injury. And its not like they don't have time. They are probably a lottery team again next year anyway. Keep all the picks and stockpile as much young talent as possible. I feel a little better about the whole situation than I did a few days ago.

Same here, unless this injury is going to ruin his career. Were the sickers going to contend for the finals next year? Besides, this tankathon last year was a lot more fun to watch then barely making/missing the playoffs again, lets do that again, haha.

Anyone know what their future draft pick status is? Doesn't Miami have one of their first rounders and possibly Orlando?

It's weird...I don't think I'll have an opinion on what they do, honestly.

The NBA is so star-dependent that you do what you have to in order to get one. If that's taking an injured Embiid and stashing him for half the season or more and picking in the lottery again, that's fine. If that's paying a king's ransom for Wiggins, that's fine.

It just all depends on if they pan out. If Embiid is Olajuwon reborn, it's a great pick. If Wiggins is Jordan redux, it's a great trade.

I will say that Brett Brown probably knows more about Exum than anybody else, so if they stand pat and take him at 3 and move MCW, I'll feel like they'll have done it with a reasonable expectation of success.

The protected first round pick traded to the Miami Heat to acquire that stiff Moultrie was dealt in part of the three-team deal that ended up going to Boston. It's most likely going to be two seconds if they don't make playoffs next year...which they won't.

No Sixers Tank, No Sixers Talk

Tanking is the only thing that makes this team relevant next season. Exum or Embiid guarantees this team is in the lottery chasing ping pong balls again.

To be fair, Wiggins or Parker ensured they were a lottery team next year too. They have like 5 total NBA players even with two top 10 picks.

My friend got called today from the Sixers asking about season tickets. They knew to make that call before tonight. That says it all right there.
