    Joke

The article is and so are you if you really think this is a story. It's about 3 perfectly healthy guys and one amputee infringing on the trademark of another. So they shouldn't sue him because he is a double amputee and cancer survivor?

Or are you trolling with this?

It's about someone at Texas A&M being smart enough to figure out that no one's trying to profit and make money off of their precious little 12th Man title that they think intimidates people that come to play in their stadium. Look at the big SEC school that rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars, suing three ordinary Joes and a double amputee cancer survivor because they think 12th man has some sort of magic to it. It's about not resorting to lawsuits over something that could be easily resolved another way. And with that being said, in the words of Beanie Segal, you can eat a dick with AIDS on the tip.

"Texas A&M is subject to lose its trademark if it does not actively take action to protect it. "

        Direct from the article.

If these guys were selling t-shirts and hats and pocketing money and shit like that, then of course A&M has every right to sue, but what they're doing is way over the top.

                          Don't you think

OSU asking for $1,000,000 in damages for every t-shirt sold is excessive as well??

At least the aggies aren't looking for money, as others pointed out if they don't defend the trademark they can lose it.

It just seems like this could have been handled in a better way. However, I'm not a lawyer, so maybe RSE could answer that question.
