The issue for me isn't the 1st amendment rights, which is a red herring in this case (he isn't being thrown in jail for what he said). It's the outlandish hypocricy shown by SiriusXM. I listen every day, and Anthony says way worse things and has been for years. None of them are outside FCC guidelines, and they've put up with it all this time.
Once it got in the headlines, the corporate lawyers shit themselves and decided they had to "protect the company" and fire him. They could have easily done a "we're handling this in house" type of deal, but nobody does that anymore (except the unions).
