Van Gaal's hands were tied on replacing the 'keeper because he had to use his 3rd sub to replace Van Persie, but after watching the Dutch keeper flail at shots, you have to wonder if Krul would have been the better choice.
What's even more puzzling is why he led off the PKs with a defender whose nickname is 'Concrete,' when Van Persie's replacement is an alleged PK specialist.
